제목 Structure-property relationship of MDI-IPDI hybrid polyurethane nanospheres
초록 Introduction of chain extension using water-soluble diamines has been limited in MDI-terminated polyurethane preprolymer because of the high reactivity of isocyanate group toward water molecule during dispersion process. Incorporation of MDI in chain extended polyurethane dispersion has several advantages, such as raw material cost-down and manipulation of thermo-mechanical properties that can be controlled by composition and morphology. In this work, synthetic method and thermo-mechanical properties of aqueous polyurethane dispersions prepared by step-wise copolymerization of IPDI and MDI has been investigated. The effects of synthetic method and composition on structure-property relationship of MDI-IPDI hybrid polyurethane nanospheres will be discussed.
