As the aging society accelerates, the rapid detection of diseases for elderly has great value. In particular, accurately diagnosing the patient's condition before surgery is a very important factor in disease treatment. Patients or self-governing bodies need information that permits objective judgments about the need for surgical first aid. Matrix metalloproteinase-2 and -9 are valuable as markers because they are over-expressed when inflammations are exacerbated. In this study, we have demonstrated a technique of optimization method using functionalized beads and surface treatment of electrodes in impedance-based system. Functionalized-beads can amplify in signal of impedance-based biosensor system. Also, surface treatment of electrodes can induce increase of binding affinity between biotinylated-antibody and terminal group of electrodes. That methods and impedance-based biosensor, which can detect key proteases, could be an important means for improving inflammation detection. |
