제목 Study on properties of EPDM/modified bottom ash/talc composites.
초록 Bottom ash generated in thermoelectric power plant is hardly recycled. Bottom ash may replace inorganic fillers that used in electrical wire insulation consisting of EPDM/talc composites. In this study, bottom ashes from different thermoelectric power plant were modified using surfactant. The composites of EPDM/modified ash/talc were prepared by roll mill. The component of ash was confirmed by SEM-EDX. Morphologies and mechanical properties of composite were confirmed by SEM and UTM, respectively. Addition of modified ash in EPDM/talc/composites improves mechanical properties of composites.
