Synthesis and Photovoltaic Performance of Hole-Transporting Polyfluorene Derivatives |

A hole-transpoting conjugated polymer of fluorene derivatives containing a didodecyl moiety (F12) and benzothiadiazole (BT) was successfully polymerized under microwave irradiation via Suzuki coupling polymerization in relatively high yields with simple purification. The strong dipole capability of the BT unit and the interchain ∏-∏ interactions between fluorene units confer a good hole transport property to the polymer backbone. The perovskite solar cell devices of F12TBT as a hole-transporting layer were fabricated on FTO-coated glass substrates and their photovoltaic performance was carefully measured by various characterization techniques. |
