제목 | Synthesis of Nickel-based catalyst for Energy-Related Application |
초록 | Carbon paper has attracted much interest in the fuel cell and other electrochemical applications due to its excellent features such as high conductivity, corrosion resistance, and high strength. On the other hand, binary metallic hybrid materials have been proven as suitable alternative candidates to replace noble metals in energy-related catalysts. Among all other, nickel oxide and cobalt oxide (NiO/CoO) are the most promising transition-metal oxides (TMOs) for energy storage, batteries, capacitors, etc., owing to their cost-effectiveness and abundance. Herein, we report the synthetic procedure of nickel cobalt oxide on carbon paper (NiCoO x /CP).First, nickel cobalt-glycerate was grown on carbon paper (NiCo-Gly/CP), then the two-step calcination process was conducted in order to obtain the final core-shell material NiCoO x /CP. We expect that the as-prepared material can enhance the catalytic performance of energy-related applications. |
