Epsilon copper phthalocyanine (ε-CuPc) was highly valued for its superior properties such as reddish hue, a high clearness and a high tincting strength covering power and resistance to the effects of alkalies and acids.In this study, after ε-CuPc crude was synthesized by seed method, the crude was crushed and grounded by the use of ball-milling. The formation of crystal phase in the copperphthalocyanine was dependent not only on shear force and temperature but also polarity of solvent.It was found that nano crystalline modification such as α, β, ε-CuPc was controled by different kinds of solvents. |
