제목 Osteogenic Differentiation of Human Adipose-Derived Stem Cells,Using Thermosensitive Gel Scaffold
초록 In the case of in situ-forming gel scaffold, an important feature for successful engineering is the development of three-dimensional network shape, with porosity at the injected site. An aqueous solution of the MPEG-PCL diblock copolymer undergoes a sol-gel transition around body temperature. An aqueous solution of the MPEG-PCL diblock copolymer, admixed with hADSCs, was injected subcutaneously into rats. Bone formation was observed only in gel implants containing both hADSCs and osteogenic factors. The observed inflammation was most likely caused by specific graft rejection of the MPEG-PCL copolymer gel only whereas the inflammatory response of gels embedded with hADSCs were much lower. The hADSCs embedded in the in situ-forming gel scaffold described here would be ideal for future use as a clinically simplified treatment for debilitating orthopedic conditions.
