제목 Extracellular Matrix Derived from Porcine Adipose Tissueas a Scaffold Material for Xenograft
초록 Extracellular matrixs (ECMs) are nature's scaffold materials not only to provide structural support to cells but also to regulate numerous cell behaviors. In this study, ECM was isolated from porcine adipose tissue by decellularization through mechanical, chemical, enzymatic treatments and fabricated into porous tissue engineering scaffolds with various 3-D shapes. The decellularization significantly reduced the cellular components. The major components in pECM were collagen and elastin. The pECM-based scaffolds exhibited good mechanical properties even in wet conditions. Human adipose-derived stem cells (hASCs) and human dermal fibroblast well proliferated in pECM-based scaffolds. The decellularized pECM containing biochemical and mechanical functions of native ECM could be useful as an ideal scaffold material for xenograft tissue engineering.
