Lysine dendrimer modified chitosan for gene delivery |
초록 |
As a non-viral vector for gene delivery, chitosan is a low-gene-expression carrier despite its outstanding biocompatiblity and non cytotoxicity. For that reason, lysine dendrimer was modified to chitosan. Lysine is as an essential amino acid for humans and it has amino group (NH3+) and carboxyl (C=OOH) group. Therefore It is easy to manufacture as dendrimer and improve transfection efficiency. The chitosan-K dendrimer was complexed with pDNA and characterized by 1H-NMR, FT-IR and DLS analysis. In addition, binding ability and gene delivery efficiency were evaluated by gel electrophoresis and transfection assay.
