제목 Preparation and luminescence properties of Ca-α-SiAlON:Eu2+ orange phosphor powder for white LEDs
초록 Oxynitride phosphors are attracting much attention in recent years as they have promising luminescence properties and would fine potential applications in white LEDs and next generation displays. New interesting α-SiAlON:Eu2+-based yellow oxynitride phosphors with the composition of (CaxEuy)Si12-2x-3yAl2x+3yOyN16-y (x=0.2~2.2, y=0~0.25) have been prepared by gas pressure sintering and the effects of the activator concentration and the overall composition of the host lattice on optical properties hase been investigated. α-SiAlON:Eu2+-based phosphors absorb light strongly in the UV-visible spectral region, and show intense broadband emission at 580~605nm. This phosphor powders may become a good candidates for creating warm white light, it is closely allied to the sunlight, when combined to a blue light-emitting diode (λex=460nm).
