제목 | Polyurethane/Silica Aerogel Hybrid Materials for the Reinforcement of Insulation Property |
초록 | The effects of chemical crosslinking between polyurethane (PU) and silica aerogel on the thermal and dynamic mechanical properties were examined. After synthesis of polyurethane prepolymer. The PU prepolymer chains were crosslinked on the surface of hydrophilic silica aerogel powder to foster thermal insulation and mechanical properties as organic and inorganic hybrid material. The potential of hybrid material was determined via characterization of thermal conductivity and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). The reaction mechanism was analyzed by NMR, FT-IR and XRD. The result of decreased thermal conductivity and reinforced storage and loss modulus proves the application of proper insulation material such as the coating on the metal sheets of refrigerator.
