Effect of pressure on passivation of low-grade solar cell by post metallization anneal |

We investigated high concentration hydrogen treatments and its impact on crystalline silicon solar cell. High concentration hydrogen annealing (HCHA) introduced during post metal anneal (PMA) improves conversion efficiency, as increasing pressure. It can be attributed to significantly improved hydrogen-passivation in HCH-PMA process. We report the role of working pressure during annealing to improve the performance of the solar cells. This result represents a promising guideline for improving the low grade solar cells by introducing an easy and low cost process of PMA in optimized condition. |
