제목 | Effects of Curing Systems on the Cure Characteristics and Mechanical Properties of NR Compounds Containing Ground NR Vulcanizates |
초록 | In the past years, considerable works have been done on the reuse of scrap rubber in the form of ground rubber or reclaimed rubber. Ground rubber(GR) can be used as an extender or filler in rubber compounds and thermoplastics, a modifier of asphalt concrete and a raw material for various products with binders. In this study, we prepared three different natural rubber(NR) vulcanizates by using conventional, semi-effective and effective curing systems. These NR vulcanizates were ground and added into new NR compounds having the same curing systems. And peroxide cured NR were also prepared and used as above. Cure behaviors and mechanical properties of NR vulcanizates containing ground NR were investigated with respect to the curing systems. The variation of crosslink densities and network structures of matrix NR vulcanizates and added rubber particles were also investigated. Fracture surfaces of GR filled specimens were observed and adhesive forces between NR compounds and vulcanized NR were measured.
