제목 | Hydrogen separation technologies and their potential for future works |
초록 | Worldwide net zero emission by 2050 has gained the attention of many governments. Hydrogen as a fuel and energy source is considered a viable choice due to its high energy density and zero hazardous emission because of combustion. Potential improvement in separation technologies via renewable energy sources can rejuvenate the hydrogen economy. There are different methods to purify hydrogen from the gaseous blend. For selecting the correct process, the gaseous mixture plays a key role. Each approach is equally important and can be utilized independently or combined as a hybrid or series configuration. The study has presented an overview of the various technologies enriching hydrogen-based fuels and their environmental impacts. Such an overview will help in potential process selection for given feedstock.
