제목 Wearable all-carbon multimodal tactile sensor skin with thermal and chemical detection
초록 Physiologically, skin-to-skin contact simultaneously causes a temperature and humidity variation as well as tactile stimuli on the human skin, thereby offering strong emotional and memory ties. This implies that e-skin should be designed to allow the multimodality in simultaneous sensing of multiple macroscopic stimuli in order to mimic human skin more plausibly. Herein, we report the first highly sensitive, stretchable, and multimodal all-carbon sensor skin using hierarchically assembled elastic and highly conductive carbon nanotubes (CNT) microfiber circuitry, which is capable of simultaneously and effectively detecting versatile external subtle stimuli such as tactile, touch, temperature, humidity, and even chemical variables into a single device. We believe that the use of wearable sensor skin suggested by us will be one of candidates to realize artificial electronic skin beyond natural skin.
