Polyurethane is widely used for various applications due to its fine properties and easy modification by the change of their component. Also, graphene is used in variety of fields due to its excellent lightweightness and conductivity. Commonly, polyurethane is prepared in organic solvent-based system, and these solvents are very expensive and toxic. On the other hand, UV-radiation curing system has some advantages such as no or little volatile organic compounds(VOC)emitted and saving energy. In this study, UV-curable polyurethane acrylates(PUA)were synthesized from poly(tetramethylene oxide)glycol(PTMG) and 2,4-tolyene diisocyanate(TDI). In addition, graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide were added. UV-curable PUA/graphene composites were prepared, and Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)was used to monitor the synthesis process and film curing. Thermal properties and electrical conductivity were measured by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and digital multimeter, respectively. |
