Organic solar cells (OSCs) have been studied for their low cost, light weight and simple manufacture process. However, OSCs have some disadvantages such as energy level mismatching, unbalanced carrier mobility and low stability. The buffer layers tuning energy levels and controlling interfacial properties between active layer and electrode can help to reach better performance. As buffer layers, hole transport layers (HTLs) are poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS), electron transport layers (ETLs) are commonly used zinc oxide (ZnO). However, their hygroscopic property and high temperature process lowers performance, stability and raises process cost. Modifying both of buffer layers (ETLs and HTLs) can improve these problems. In this study, we fabricated OSCs with simultaneous modified buffer layers via solution process. As a result, the stability and performance of OSCs with interfacial buffer layer are enhanced. |
