In this study, we investigate water soluble polymers based disposable electronics. We monitored water dissolution behavior of various biodegradable polymers and water soluble metal with respect to pH condition of DI water and PBS water. We also designed fully decomposable electronic device, consist of water soluble substrate, electric circuit, encapsulation coating. In addition, based on materials of limited degradability at certain pH condition, such as acids or bases, we fabricated devices that can control active state by external condition. |
