The color filter with the red, green and blue pigment derived from mill-base processing is known as essential components of the liquid crystal display (LCD). Among these, the color properties of Cu-Phthalocyanine mainly have used as blue pigment. Particularly, the particle size and distribution have played an important role in the performance of color filter. In this study, we prepared to improve dispersion stability of blue pigment through control the processing factors by salt milling and dispersant BYK-2000 which helps pigment to improve the separation of particles and to prevent settling or clumping. Further, we investigated transmittance luminance, viscosity and contrast ratio by using hydrogeneated rosin which can interfere with the agglomeration. The morphology, size distribution and crystal structure of prepared blue pigments were observed by transmission electron microscope (TEM), particle size analysis (PSA) and X-ray diffractometer (XRD). |
