Relationship between Functional Groups of Carbon Nanotubes and Properties of Carbon Nanotubes/Polymer Composites: Study on Mechanical and Thermal Properties |
초록 |
In this work, the effect of acid-treatment condition on mechanical and thermal properties of carbon nanotubes/polymer composites was investigated. The surface properties of acid-treated carbon nanotubes were measured by Fourier transfer-infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Also, the functional groups of carbon nanotubes were quantitatively analyzed using x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis to analyze the relationship between the functional groups and the mechanical properties of the composites. Mechanical and thermal properties of the composites were studied by tensile strength, flexural strength, and thermal conductivity measurements. |
