제목 Fabrication of 3D-networked hydrophilic carbon electrodes using a radiation processing
초록 In this study, 3D-networked hydrophilic carbon electrodes were developed through a room temperature and solid-state radiation processing to improve the capacitance. The carbon electrode was prepared by activated carbon and radiation crosslinkable methacrylated poly(vinyl alcohol) mixtures at various composition, and then irradiated by electron beam to form 3D-network structure. The various analytical results revealed that the resulting carbon electrode possessed not only highly solvent-extraction stability but a high specific capacitance in comparison to hydrophobic binder-based counterparts due to the networked structure and improved hydrophilicity.
