A Study on the Weatherability of LLDPE Nanocomposites using Various Additives |
| 초록 |
Nanocomposite of LLDPE(linear low density polyethylene) was prepared from inorganic nano CaCO3 particles. To enhance weatherability, various additives, i.e., anti-oxidants, UV absorber and their combinations were added to the nanocompsite. Different sizes of nano carbon black were also added to the nanocomposte. Samples were aged at 63℃, 50percent humidity(120min./cycle, 102min./irradiance & 18min./water spray). Nanocomposite using additives with higher molecular weights showed lesser decrease of tensile strength and elongation after aging. As the size of carbon black decreases, the light shied effect was maintained after aging. |
