To enhance the flame retardant properties of polyurethane fibers, carbon nanotubes and ammonium polyphosphate involved polyurethane fibers were prepared by electrospinning method. The surface morphology of electrospun fiber was investigated by FE-SEM. The chemical analysis was carried out by XRD and EDS. In order to investigate the effects of carbon nanotubes and ammonium polyphosphate as flame retardant, TGA and DSC analysis was carried out under air and nitrogen atmosphere. Eventually, the properties of flame retardant were strikingly improved under effects of carbon nanotubes and ammonium polyphosphate additives. |
