Triphenylamine-based monomers, containing electron-donating side groups were prepared and utilized to synthesize conjugated polymers with 4,7-bis(2-thienyl)-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole (DBT). The monomers such as 4-(diphenyl amino)-triphenylamine (DPATPA), 4-(diphenyl phosphinoyl)-triphenylamine (DPPOTPA) and 4-(carbazoyl)-triphenylamine (CZTPA) were prepared by reacting 4,4’-dibromodiphneylamine with 9-(4-bromophenyl)carbazole, 4-bromo-4’-(diphenylphosphinoyl)phenyl or 4-bromo-4’-(diphenyl amino)phenyl via CuI-catalyzed coupling reaction, respectively. The polymers with triphenylamine moiety were characterized by NMR, FT-IR, GC-MS, TGA, DSC, GPC and solubility measurements. In addition, optical and electrical properties were also evaluated by fluorescence spectroscopy, UV-vis and CV. |
