제목 Photo Patterning of Fluorescent Poly(p-phenylene vinylene) Thin Film
초록 Substantial effort has been devoted to the synthesis and patterning of opto-electronic polymers for their application in organic electronic devices. we attempt to pattern emittive polymer thin films via photo-oxidation and photo-reduction. These photo-processes which lead to a saturation of the C=C double bonds are applied to easy microscale patterning of fluorescent polymer films. S-Triazine (ST) bridged p-phenylene vinylene copolymer (STPV) was synthesized to afford highly fluorescent polymer thin films. Importantly, Microscale patterning via photo-reduction is accomplished with not only UV illumination but also visible illumination (491nm). Photo-processes lead to substantially decrease the fluorescence intensity depending on illumination time in irradiated area and are confirmed by FT-IR.
