제목 Improved Performance of MgO/Activated Carbon for CO2 Capture.
초록 To improve CO2 capture performances of activated carbon (AC), MgO was doped on AC using wet method. In order to increase interaction between MgO/AC surfaces and CO2 in adsorption process. The obtained materials have been characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2/77 K adsorption-desorption isotherms using Bruanauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). CO2 capture capaciry was evaluated at 298 K and 1 bar. From the results, it was confirmed that the MgO affected on the CO2 capture capacity of AC, resulting from enhancing the basic characteristics on the carbon surface.
