제목 Synthesis of β-Chitin and Chitosan Derivatives with Aminopeptide Side Chains
초록 Pioneering studies on natural antibacterial agents and nano material polysacacaride derivatives with a hydrophilic group have recently been reported. In this study, aspartyl-L-phenylalanine side chain, with can interact with each other by hydrophilic interactions, were introduced by a chlorination of chitin and β-chitosan(Mw 5000, DDA 90%) with various amino acid and aminopeptide groups. When aspartyl-L-phenylalanine was used, a new chitosan derivative with a hydrophilic amino peptide group as well as a hydrophilic polymeric amino peptide group was obtained. In addition, the chitosan derivatives were also soluble in deionized water.
