제목 Nano-porous Hydrogel Tip for Nanolithography
초록 Dip-Pen Nanolithography (DPN) technique is an attractive nanofabrication tool for the researchers working in the areas of nano-material science, electronic devices, chip-based biosensors and proteomics. However, in spite of their advantages, the DPN system has three major limitations for the wide use in the biochip industry : (1) low diffusion rate of a high-molecular weight molecules through water meniscus. (2) limited ink volume on the tip surface. (3) retaining of biological activity on the tip surface. Herein, we present the strategy to solve those problems by the modification of silicon tip surface with nano-prous hydrogel polymer. Polyoxazoline was coated on the silicon substrate by surface initiated ring opening polymerization of 2-methyl-2-oxzoline, and the size of nanopore was controlled by the reaction time. Furthermore, we will show how to pattern a large-molecular weight biomolecules using the nano-prous hydrogel tip. Keywords: DPN, Surface polymerization, Polyoxazoline
