Fabrication of Nano Porous Polymer Coated CNTs-Tip |

Dip-Pen Nanolithography (DPN) technique is an attractive nano fabrication tool for the researchers working in the areas of nano material science, electonic devices and chip-based biosensors. One can use this sponge-like tip to generate nanoarrays of large molecular biomolecules in combination with the DPN technique with a high speed at ambient conditions by a physical stamping manner. In this work, we have prepared CNTs-modified silicon tip with the carboxylated SWNTs by Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) method. Because the CNTs-modified tip have carboxylic acid groups on the surface, we can chemically polymerization the hydrolzed polyoxazoline monomers on the site of carboxylic acids. The synthesized nano porous polymer coated CNTs-tips were characterized with AFM, SEM, NMR, FT-IR and EDX. |
