The emission color switching and management oforganic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) was studied with organic emitter whichcan emit thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) and room temperaturephosphorescence (RTPH). The emitting material, phenyl(10-phenyl-10H-phenoselenazin-3-yl)methanone(PSeBz), emits TADF emission at 496 nm and RTPH emission at 559 nm. Theseemission intensities can be controlled by host triplet energy because tripletexcitons are quenched by low triplet energy host. In conclusion the 1931 CIEcolor coordinate of the OLED could be managed from (0.35, 0.52) to (0.41, 0.52)by only changing the host. |
