Synthesis and electroluminescence property of a bipolar pyrene derivative |

DPA-Py-DPT was synthesized by boration, Buchwald-Hartwig amination and Suzuki aryl-aryl coupling. Optical properties were examined by UV-Vis. absorption spectra and PL spectra. The UV-Vis. absorption spectra of DPA-Py-DPT showed maximum absorption wavelengths of 454 nm in film states. The PL spectra of DPA-Py-DPT showed maximum emission wavelengths of 554 nm in film states. A non-doped OLED was fabricated using the synthesized material as an emitting material. The TPA-An-DPT compound exhibited current efficiency of 13.66 cd/A and CIE of (0.44, 0.54). |
