Improved Dissolution of Pranlukast with the Surfactant |

The aim of this study is to overcome solubility of poorly water soluble drugs, we prepared solid dispersion containing nanoparticle of pranlukast improved dissolution property by surfactant of high solubility. As a result of experiment which in order to find surfactant of high solubility, we found that meglumine has high solubility of 3719.2 μg/mL. Eudragit L100 was used for the improvement of formulation of solid dispersion. Characteriztion of pranlukast solid dispersion was analyzed by SEM, DSC, XRD and FT-IR. The in vitro tests was carried out to find improvement of dissolution rate of pranlukast solid dispersion in intestinal juice and controlled experiment was carried out to compare pranlukast solid disperion with conventional drugs(Onon). In this study, we selectived the high soluble surfactants and found the improved dissolution rate of pranlukast solid dispersion as the orally pharmaceutical formulation prepared by spray drying.
