High-performacne PANI-coated Ag2Se nanowire and PVDF thermoelctric composite film for flexible energy harvesting |

A flexible thermoelectric (TE) composite film consisting of polyaniline (PANI) coated silver selenide nanowire (Ag2Se NW) filler and polyvinylidine fluoride (PVDF) matrix is synthesized with a simple approach. We analyze the TE power of PANI-Ag2Se as various coating cycles of PANI reviewed by carrier transmission characteristics. TE characteristics were then analyzed by synthesizing a flexible PANI-Ag2Se/PVDF composite film with varying NW fractions. The composite film with 65 wt.% of NW has excellent output power factor (from 300K to 196.6 μW/m*K2) and has excellent durability after being bent 1,000 times. The assembled 6-leg TE device produced a temperature difference of 30K of 15.4V and a maximum output of 835.8 nW. This study can guide you in the manufacture of high-performance flexible TE composite films composed of inorganic/organic composite materials. |
