Influence of particle size of MOF crystal on electrochemical performance of carbon-based host electrode of lithium-sulfur cells |
초록 |
Lithium-sulfur batteries are drawing attention as next-generation batteries that can be used for a long time because their theoretical capacity is four times higher than conventional lithium-ion batteries that are often used in electric vehicles. The metal-organic framework (MOF) is a material with controllable pore size, highly ordered structure and very high porosity. In particular, the increasing number of studies on nano MOF composite materials as Li-S electrode materials provided reliable results demonstrating excellent performance. The MOF composite and the MOF derivative are expected to contain many polysulfides and host sulfur with improved electrical conductivity. MOF-808@sulfur composite electrode materials were prepared by hydrothermal reaction with using organic ligands and metal ions. The morphology of the composites was examined by FE-SEM, FT-IR and XRD. Electrochemical characterizations were also conducted by cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge-discharge tests. |
