제목 Fabrication and Materials Property Characterization of Porous Granular BCP Bone Substitute With Sr and Si Doping for Enhanced Biocompatibility
초록 Granular porous materials with unidirectionally oriented pores were fabricated by multipass extrusion method from Biphasic Calcium Phosphate powders. The powders were synthesized by ultrasonic assisted synthesis method. To improve the bio integration of the synthesized powder, elements like Sr, Si were doped into the crystal structure of BCP at the time of synthesis. To investigate the optimum structural and morphological features three different kinds of porous granules were fabricated with 0.75, 1.0 and 1.5 mm of diameters. The fabricated porous bone substitutes had different pore arrangement and pore size in the range of 80~400 μm depending on the diameter of the fabricated granules. Detailed microstructural analysis was performed by SEM. The material properties for all three types of the granular bone substitutes were investigated. Biocompatibility of the bone substitutes were investigated by MTT assy and invitro cell culture investigation.
