For stretchable electrodes, there are three key parameters for appropriate evaluation of their performance: conductivity, stretchability, and cycling stability. Conductive materials, such as single-walled carbon nano tube (SWCNT), silver nano particles, and nickel composite, can be formed into solutions so that they can be printed on the stretchable platform. In a stretchable electronic system, the stretchable interconnection electrodes play important roles. However, depending on materials, the printed electrodes have their own pros and cons in terms of the three key parameters. In this talk, some of the results and technical issues of the conductive thin films made of SWCNT, Ag, and Ni composite will be further discussed.
