Enhancing the performance of dye-sensitized solar cell by localized surface plasmon resonance |
초록 |
Dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) is recognized as a promising technology for energy production. It’s more cost effective than conventional silicon solar cell. To improve efficiencies of DSSC, efforts have been directed at engineering the photoanode, cathode, dye and redox shuttle. The photoanode has been regarded as main factor among the factors for improving efficiency such as presenting a high density of light harvesting molecules, fast electron transport within networks, slow back electron transfer to oxidized dyes and shuttle. In the other hand localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) is an intriguing property of metal nanoparticles (NPs). Localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) has potential for improving the performance of DSSC for the unique capability to improve the light absorption of dye with minimal impact on other material properties. In this report we investigate the improvement over the performance of DSSC by various metal nanoparticles which have Localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) behavior. |
