Ship performance and energy efficiency in actual operating condition is a very important issue for ship operator and shipping company. That is directly related to the fleet operation and operating cost. In this paper, we described ship performance based on a large amount of reliable operating data, antifouling and maintenance effect before and after dry docking for operating data by classifying drafts and voyage number. The vessel applied low-frictional anti-fouling paint before dry docking and applied general paint after dry docking. as a result of the review, it was confirmed that not only the environment but also the type of paint affected the ship’s operating performance. |
