Evidenced by the "Nano Rush" started in late 90's, researches in different areas have been converged into nanoscience and nanotechnology to seek for new materials. This new paradigm has also affected to polymer research filed. I have studied polyelectrolytes, naturally or synthetically occuring, and their blends for years to understand the novel functions of biological systems. Nano-structured films of polymer blends, and inorganic hybrids were created by layer-by-layer process and utilized for the studies of biomolecules-film interactions. Studies of the materials in optical and electrical properties will be also introduced. |
