The crystallization behaviors of the nylon 6/GOgraft (nylon 6-grafted graphene oxide, 0.045 wt%) composite during heating, cooling, and cold stretching experiments were studied with in-situ simultaneous WAXD and SAXS in the synchrotron radiation source at PAL. The slowly cooled samples of the pure nylon 6 and composite were having α phase. However, after quenching from the melt, pure nylon 6 was γ* phase at room temperature although the composite was α phase, and long period of the composite (20.20 nm) was larger than that of the pure nylon (17.85 nm). During heating, α phase of the composite changed into γ* phase at ~ 140ºC, and then to high temperature α phase (α′) at ~ 200 ºC. During stretching at room temperature both the γ* phase of pure nylon and the α phase of composite leading into a metastable phase. |
