제목 Use of magnetic/Polymer Nanocomposite Particles as Nano-Absorbents for Low-molecular Weight Hydrophobic Pollutants
초록 Magnetic nanoparticles were synthesized using amphiphilic polymer nano-colloid solutions. Micelle-like amphiphilic polymer nanoparticles were first prepared through soap-free emulsion polymerization of amphiphilic urethane acrylate nonionomer (UAN). And then, mixtures of iron trichloride and dichloride were added at CAP nano-colloid aqueous solutions and followed by addition of NaOH aqueous solutions to synthesis magnetic nanoparticles. Magnetic property and size of nanocomposite particles strongly depended on the weight ratio and type of UAN chains. Magnetic/polymer nanocomposite nanoparticles dispersed at water could absorb hydrophobic pollutant (phenanthrene) dissolved in water. These nanocomposite particles could be easily separated by applying magnetic field on the solutions, indicating that magnetic/polymer nanocomposite particles could be used as nano-absorbent for hydrophobic pollutants dissolved at water.
