Preparation and Characterization of Top Coatings for Mobile Phone |

The top coatings and its application to mobile phone will be discussed. The top coatings for mobile phone is consist of polyurethane acrylate, monomer, solvent, photoinitiator and additive. This polyurethane acrylate was synthesized using isocyanates such as diisocyanate, polyester polyol, acrylate. This coating resin was formulated from the monomer as a reactive diluent. The monomer was mixed with the polyurethane acylate, it changes the viscosity and molecular weight of the resulting resins. And a FT-IR spectrometer was used for analyzing the top resulting resins. The each solutions, the resin coatings with 20um thickness were prepared on polycarbonate surfaces by using Spray system. The coated plate goes through heat treatment at 80℃ for 1min and UV curing. The surface characteristics of coated plate were evaluated by SEM, scratch resistance, pencil hardness, trough vibrator. |
