Sythesis and Application of Carboxymethyl Chitosan-g- Poly(Ethylene imine) for Gene Carrier |
초록 |
Carboxymethyl chitosan(CMCh) was prepared by chemical reaction with mono-chloroacetic acid to low molecular weight water soluble chitosan(LMWSC) of C6-OH (O-Carboxymethyl chitosan) group to apply as gene and drug carrier. For successful gene therapy is safe and effective gene delivery system development is needed. Chitosan to form complexes with DNA degradation by DNase, these complexes has been reported that there is an effect. They have a high positive charge that the PEI with the DNA complex formation is easy. The physicochemical characterisitc of CMCh-PEI2K was investigated by FT-IR, 1H-NMR. Particle size distribution and zeta potential of the CMCh-PEI2K was determined using dynamic light scattering technique. Gel electrophoresis of the CMCh-PEI2K was confirmed that complex the DNA. |
