제목 | Rheological properties and interfacial tension of PP/SAN/PP-g-SAN and PP/SAN/EGMA-g-SAN blends |
초록 | The morphology and rheological properties of polypropylene/ poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile) (PP/SAN 2/8) blends were studied in this work . The PP/SAN blends was compatibilized with polypropylene-g-poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile) (PP-g-SAN) copolymer and ethylene glycidyl methacrylate-g-poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile) (EGMA-g-SAN) copolymer. The addition of compatibilizer to the PP droplet resulted in small size and narrow size distribution. Between the PP-g-SAN copolymer and the EGMA-g-SAN copolymer, the compatibilization effects was more significantly for the PP-g-SAN copolymer. The linear viscoelasticity of compatibilized blends reveals that the form relaxation the time of comapatibilized blends was shifted longer than uncompatibilized blends. According to emulsion model (Choi-Schowalter emulsion model and Palierne emulsion model), longer form relaxation time means lower interfacial tension. From the linear viscoelasticity, compatibilized with the PP-g-SAN copolymer blends showed longer relaxation time than compatibilized with the EGMA-g-SAN blends.
