Using XRD, FT-IR, and Solid State NMR spectrometers, polycarbonate/MMT hybrids, that have modified MMT and unmodified MMT as the variation, were analyzed to obtain informations on molecular dynamics resulting from interaction between PC and MMT. Modified MMT with alkylamine showed larger d-spacing than Na-MMT in XRD analysis. It was confirmed that the interaction between modified MMT and PC larger than that between Na-MMT and PC in FT-IR analysis. Also from CP/MAS result, only modified MMT showed two T1ρH, which indicated the mobility difference of intercalated PC and unintercalated PC into MMT.
