Stretchable conductors that preserve electrical functionality under tension have numerous applications such as flexible electronic and biomedical devices. To fabricate multi-functional stretchable conductors, porous stretchable polymer membrane was used as a template. Then conducting materials such as single walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) were coated on the template by layer-by-layer (LBL) assembly. In this research, we studied electrical conductive performances of porous conducting stretchable membranes with various polyelectrolytes to find the most effective solution for stretchable conductors. |
