Preparation of Bio-based Nanocomposites from Surface-modified Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes and Functionalized Soybean Resin |
| 초록 |
Bio-based nanocomposites was fabricated from modified multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNT) and acrylated epoxidized soybean resin. Soybean resins are environmentally friendly and renewable materials based on triglycerides to compose of three fatty acids joined at glycerol juncture. The surface treatment of MWNT was performed by sonicating in an HNO3/H2SO4 solution to give carboxylic acid groups. The morphology and mechanical properties of the nanocomposites measured by TEM and DMA indicated good reinforcing effects of MWNT. |
