제목 Selective Skin Cell Targeting of Nanovesicles through Conjugation of Skin Protein-derived Peptides
초록 This study introduces a useful approach for fabrication of lipid/polymer nanovesicles using cell targeting peptide(CTP)s that target the specific skin cells including keratinocyte, fibroblast, melanocyte. For this, three CTPs, Lam, KTTKS, and NDP-MSH, were conjugated to lipid/polymer nanovesicles via thiol-maleimide reaction. We demonstrated that CTPs enhanced cellular uptake and each skin cell targeting nanovesicle showed high selectivity for specific skin cells. Then, the effect of the active materials in the skin cell targeting nanovesicles was verified. Finally, we expect that using this specific cell targeting ability, nanovesicles can be utilized as a systematic drug carrier in the field of cosmetics and pharmaceutics.
