제목 Performance improvement of dye-sensitized solar cells with Pb(NO3)2–modified photoelectrodes
초록 In order to reduce the interfacial charge recombination between the photo-injected electrons and triiodide ions in the electrolyte, TiO2 surface was modified with lead(II) nitrate [Pb(NO3)2]. The Pb(NO3)2-modified TiO2 electrodes were prepared by soaking the TiO2 films in an aqueous Pb(NO3)2 solution, and the resulting electrodes were applied to the photoanodes of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The power conversion efficiency of a DSSC with a Pb(NO3)2-modified TiO2 electrode was improved from that of the reference device without any modification, due to an enhancement in open-circuit voltage and short-circuit photocurrent.
