Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) represent an important group of nanomaterials with attractive electronic, chemical and mechanical properties. CNT/polymer nanocomposites are also attracted a great deal of interest as reinforcing filler, electrical conductivity, and thermal properties. In recent years, novel strategies have been devoted to the fabrication of CNT based composites by surface modification. However, several problems still exist for the practical use of CNT/polymer nanocomposites. In this study, CNT/polymer nanocomposites with different contents of MWNT were prepared by melt compounding and characterized their mechanical, electrical properties and observed the dispersion of MWCNTs. |
